- Garlic Granulated – Organic
- Himalayan Salt
- 1 cup Cooked Lentils
- 1 cup Walnuts Raw – Organic
Utensils:
- Skillet
- Small Pot with Lid
- Cutting Board
- Knife
- Food Processor
- Blender
- Mixing Bowls
- Whisk
Directions:
Step 1: Cook Lentils.
Put lentils into pot and add 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, cover with lid and lower to a simmer. Cook lentils until soft, about an hour. Put to the side to cool.
Step 2: Prep and Saute Vegetables.
Peel and dice the onion. Wash and slice mushrooms (about 5 cuts per mushroom). Place skillet on stove and turn on heat to medium high. Add a little oil and then add diced onion and sliced mushrooms. Add a sprinkle of granulated garlic and black pepper and pinch of salt. Add bag of frozen peas and continue to saute for 10 minutes on low medium heat. Pour the cooked vegetables into a bowl and put to the side to cool.
Step 3: Blend all Ingredients into a Puree.
Put walnuts into food processor and add the lentils. Blend up until smooth. Next place the puree of lentils and walnuts into a blender to make even smoother. Blend until a creamy puree. Put into mixing bowl. Next add the sauteed vegetables into the food processor and repeat same process. Add the pureed vegetables into the blender and blend until smooth. Add to the mixing bowl with lentil and walnut puree. Whisk until one mixture. Season with salt to taste.
Serve and enjoy!
