Namaste,
My greatest joy is to cook and feed people in the name of my Guru, Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati.
This next recipe i learned many years ago from one of Ma’s very close devotees, Swami Laxman Das.
Swami Laxman Das would travel to India, and many times cared directly for Baba’s most close devotee, Dada.
In comparison, Yashoda is Ma’s most close devotee. As Yashoda took the utmost care of Ma, Dada took the utmost care of Baba.
Swami Laxman shared with me a home style recipe for roasted potatoes that he learned while caring for Dada.
This version uses cauliflower.
Thank you Ma and Baba for the Grace to share your food.
Enjoy!!!

Directions:
Step 1: Wash, Prep Cauliflower and Onions.
Peel and medium dice onion. Set aside momentarily.
Cut out the center of the cauliflower and remove the leaves.

Step 2: Saute Onions with Spices and Steam Cauliflower.
Saute the diced onion in oil or ghee with the turmeric, cumin seeds and black pepper.
Cook until the onions are translucent.
Steam or blanch (boil in water) the cauliflower so that it is cooked but still firm.
It won’t take long so watch it close.
Remove from steamer and place into mixing bowl.
Step 3: Add Onions and Spices to Cauliflower, Toss and Bake.
Add the onion mixture with all the oil and spices on top of the cauliflower.
Mix well with a spoon and spread onto a sheet pan(s) with unbleached baking paper.
Place into oven and bake at 400 degrees until cauliflower gets crispy brown edges.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt to taste and serve.
Enjoy!!!
