Namaste,
On Kashi we celebrate the very special time of Gurupurnima this Saturday July 16th.
The feet of a holy being have great significance because it is the feet that touch the earth and bless the earth.
So it is with great joy on Gurupurnima to honor the feet of one’s Guru.
After our Gurupurnima celebration lots of prasad will be served.
One of these prasads will be raspberry brownies.
They are easy to make, delicious, and gluten free.
I am so grateful to my Guru, Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati, and for every moment at Her Feet.

Directions:
Step 1: Mix melted butter with half of the sugar ( 1 cup) and cocoa and salt:
Melt the butter.
In a mixing bowl combine the melted butter, half of the sugar = to 1 cup, the cocoa powder and salt.
Whisk this all together well.
Add vanilla, eggs, 1/4 jar of raspberry preserves and mix well.
Step 2: Mix flour ingredients with the other half of the sugar (1 cup):
In a separate mixing bowl combine the oat flour, cornstarch, xanthan, and remaining 1 cup of sugar.
Use a dry clean whisk to incorporate all the dry ingredients evenly.
Step 3: Mix wet into dry:
Make a space in the center of the dry ingredients.
Add the wet ingredients into the space of the dry ingredients.

Step 4: Bake the Brownies:
Grease your baking pan with some butter or nonstick spray or even coconut oil.
Add the batter and smooth it out with the spatula.

The bars are done when they have set up.
Somewhere in the 15 – 25 minute range,
