Namaste,
Prasad is food prepared and offered to god and then served to everyone as blessed food.
Another way to say this is food prepared with care and love and then shared with all.
Halvah is a delicious Indian sweet and this recipe was given to me many years ago by one of Ma’s very close devotees, Ganga Ma.
Ganga Ma is one of the greatest bakers ever, and the sweets she has prepared as Prasad over the years are incredible!
Thank you Ganga Ma!!!
Coconut Halvah is a variation of the original recipe. It is easy to make, gluten free, and vegan.
There is such joy in preparing and serving food.
And to feed everyone in the name of my Guru is the greatest joy.
Thank you Ma and Baba for your Grace.
